Hotkey in Data Viewer and Editor
When a datafield is edited in the data editor by pressing twice F2 the cursor is in the "Data Viewer and Editor". As soon the cursor is in the "Data Viewer and Editor" the mouse must be used to leave the editor or to apply the changes etc.. It should be possible to define hotkeys for at least "Apply Changes" and "Cancel Changes". After the changes has been applied or canceled the focus should go back to the origin field.
The workflow is really bad if a lot of fields have to modified with the Data Viewer and Editor. Keys…

Extensions, plagins, add-in
Do you plan adding user extensions for the IDE (plagins) or some other mechanism to extend the functionality with external utilities?
For example:
- Using the external xml (you could include the editor), add an ability to add menu items (main, popup menu for a database, object, in the editor) where an external program with parameters will run (on a modal window) upon a click: current connection string (with a password, asking the user's permission), current database, current object type, current object name, etc.
A return code will tell what to do ( -1 - error, 0 -nothing to do, 1-update…

Allow filtering where the results shows the number of changes for a column at the bottom of a tab
When I run a compare, I often have thousands of records in the results tabs, per tab. At the bottom it shows the number of different records for each column labeled "Changes". Would be great to have a button that quickly filters on those records that are different instead of trying to scroll up and down to find them, per column.

Schema Compare /Sync log
Currently on the command line, the /sync option allows you to specify a file to write the sync script to, instead of executing immediately. When no file is specified, the sync is executed immediately. I would like a way to send the results of the sync operation to a log file of type .txt.
I think it would be beneficial to have a couple of different logging levels:
0 - verbose; each object start and stop time, warnings, and errors
1 - warnings; only objects causing warnings or errors to occur
2 - only errorsWarnings should include the object…

We really need the ability to backup and restore Azure SQL databases
SQL Server (non-Azure) makes it very easy to backup and restore. Not so with Azure. Even if we can't restore to Azure, it would be great to backup the database like any other SQL database, and restore it to a local SQL instance.

Change query result window behaviour
Some users (and I'm amonh them) prefer to see query results in separate window. I can change it when I open new query, but there is no option to make this choice by default. In SQL Server Management Studio you can move between these windows (query, result, output window) by pressing F6, there is no hotkey for that.

Add Fearure like SQL Everywhere for queries.
Have a look free tool "SQL Everywhere" which is very good tool for query database. You should add such feature like prefix DBO, Copy query output as "IN" clause and may more.

When we write Queries, the [dbo] should prefix to the appropriate object to execute queries more faster.

Keyboard shortcut for selecting connection
Mostly love the way dbForge Studio treats connections: the way you can set a color and shape, the way they persist and can be selected in the toolbar dropdown, etc.
It would be great if that dropdown could be selected via keyboard shortcut.

Print Preview
It would be nice to preview the printout of the database diagram(s) before electing to send them to the printer. Certainly would save on paper!

Data compare / Copy selected records with foreign keys into another DB
Please implement selective export of certain records and all related records in child tables (by foreign key).
Doing whole data compare in our case is estimated at 7.5hrs, which is too long for practical use.
This feature would be very useful in our reproduce/troubleshoot workflows, replacing whole DB backup/restore, which is roughly 150GB, times 2, to be moved over network.4 votes
