SecureBridge

SecureBridge is a set of network security and data protection solutions that can protect any TCP traffic using SSH or SSL secure transport layer protocols that provide authentication for both client and server, strong data encryption, and data integrity verification. SecureBridge components can be used in conjunction with data access components to prevent data interception or modification in an untrusted network.

  1. Create a CryptPlugin for RealThinClient (RTC) so that you can use RTC with https by using SecureBridge.

There are currently two "out of the box" solutions for https with RTC: StreamSec and SecureBlackBox.

However, for those loyal DevArt customers, having a SecureBridge solution would be better.

  7. Please see http://cntlm.sourceforge.net/
This is different than just adding Proxy support for SFTP which would be good also. Something like CNTLM would let you proxy enable any app on the PC by using local port forwarding. CNTLM lets you define local port forwarding tunnels to the corp proxy server for other ports such as 22 or any other port the corp proxy is setup to support.
CNTLM also lets you gateway the port tunnels so users on other PCs can use the forwarded proxy port as well. Similar to how a SSH tunnel can also be set to listen on…

  8. The last version doesn't support PGP Keys. It will be great if this component would have this functionality. Other Components does.

  9. In SSH-2, Kerberos is supported through GSSAPI; RFC 4462 describes GSSAPI key exchange and user authentication in SSH-2.

For GSSAPI, Windows clients require the MIT Kerberos library http://web.mit.edu/kerberos/www/dist/index.html.

  14. TScSFTPClient (SFTP client) has a NonBlocking property, please add the same to TScFTPClient (FTP/FTPS client). Currently the Upload command just blocks until it completes, which makes it harder to build a responsive GUI. Thanks.

  15. Could you please fix the Delphi Demos. They are not working for a long time over many versions.

    Example open:
    SFTPClientFrame\SFTPClientFrame.pas

    The Parameters are incompatible.

Also is the concept of the demo with frames VERY difficult to understand.
