  1. You have Code Compare, so using their logic/viewports to manage the data/schema diffs shouldn't be impossible. Right now the two views are just syntax highlighted blocks of text and it can be difficult to find what actually changed.

I often paste the two blocks into FC so I can see the diff, which is tedious. But important!

  4. So far I have never been able to reaplace a value with Search&Replace.
And yes, the tables are editable.
I can only Search (and find) but reaplace button NEVER works.

  5. Select all rows in a result windows by clicking on a top left corner. Right now clicking on the square does not do anything. It would be a very convenient way to copy all rows into clipboard.

  7. We need a way to export all or a subset, of our servers and be able to reimport them at another box, like our laptop. I need to travel for a month and I have too many servers to do it manually

  8. When generating schema synchronization script, add new columns (which are existing in the Source object and are missing in the Target object) before dropping old ones (which are existing only in the Target object).

    This will preserve data integrity.

  9. It used to be, until version 6.3, that in the session manager, you could filter a column for "is not blank", which made it easy to see only active sessions. Now we have to go in a dialog for that.

Either bring back the quick filter, or make the session manager save it's state so that it comes back with the same filters when you restart dbForge Studio.

  10. If you've already clicked on the database you wish to use, opening a New SQL Query should automatically connect to that database so that intellisense works immediately. At the moment you have to additionally right-click on the database entry and select "open". It's a productivity thing when you use dbForge intensely, as I do.

  11. I suggest for the developer to have capability to spell check the text that is entered into the database. The current software does not permit spell check so with that I currently have to put info into another database file that can check for spelling, export to excel and then upload to the program, which is taking time to export/import. If I have to tweak a record, I have to be sure to do it in both files, which if not done correctly could cause files down the road to not be the same.

  13. I have found this feature in the quantum grid suit to be outstanding - and you guys know as well as I do - how easy it is to make it available. This is a no brain feature. For those reading this and potential voter, imagine being able to search any column in the data from one simple search box. then a filter list of your search is presented to you in one click. This is achievable now without any special code on the behalf of devart. Come on vote for this and you will adore it.

  15. It takes too long to work with the data viewer. Yesterday I had to search for the save button????!!!!!
I need a BIG button which does SAVE & CLOSE of edito at the same time because this is what you do all the time when opening the editor.

  17. This is an extension of the feature already implemented here:

    http://devart.uservoice.com/forums/77293-dbforge-studio-for-mysql/suggestions/1263699-current-timestamp-checkbox-for-a-new-column-timest

EMS' MySQL Manager software has ability to set this as a tick box option, along side the option for Update current_timetamp.

Annoying to have to type in CURRENT_TIMESTAMP into default box each time when that is the most likely default option each time you create a timestamp field.

    Thanks,
    Tim.

  18. I'd like to see a way to make the data grid display all values for a specific columns (in this case, a binary(16)) as a GUID.

Right now I have to create a view for each table and I would prefer it to be more efficient.

This could be solved in a robust and efficient way by allowing the user to apply a function of their choosing to the column. That's really all I'm doing in the view.

  19. Implement "Undo Unchanged Files" feature for any folder in pending changes.
For TFS this will be brilliant feature because there is no good tool/extension to do so.
Especially it is useful when baseless merge is performed.

  20. When right-clicking a selection in Data Editor and selecting the 'Set Value To' popup menu section, in addition to the existing 4 options, there should be the ability to specify custom value.
