The popup is pretty awesome, but the additional detail you are talking about is tough, as it's already hard to use with large tables due to no scrolling or ability to "pin" the definition.
I think you're on, but maybe the suggestion could be to offer option to pin the popup with a few more detailed sections such as index/constraint details, all column options etc?
Since SSMS 2016 has the 2015 shell, I'm thinking of the way that Visual Studio allows you to pin local variables up in the IDE and they don't keep disappearing. Then you could have the detail you want, but pinned and easy to navigate?
