Automatically open Database when opening a new SQL query
If you've already clicked on the database you wish to use, opening a New SQL Query should automatically connect to that database so that intellisense works immediately. At the moment you have to additionally right-click on the database entry and select "open". It's a productivity thing when you use dbForge intensely, as I do.

Capability to spell check the text that is entered into the database
I suggest for the developer to have capability to spell check the text that is entered into the database. The current software does not permit spell check so with that I currently have to put info into another database file that can check for spelling, export to excel and then upload to the program, which is taking time to export/import. If I have to tweak a record, I have to be sure to do it in both files, which if not done correctly could cause files down the road to not be the same.

scroll 'wheels' do not work
Whether used on my laptop with a touchpad or my desktop with a mouse, dbForge Studio doesn't support scrolling in any window by any means other than clicking or dragging the scroll bar. It will initially scroll for perhaps a second and then it stops.

implement developer express new FIND PANEL feature ASAP
I have found this feature in the quantum grid suit to be outstanding - and you guys know as well as I do - how easy it is to make it available. This is a no brain feature. For those reading this and potential voter, imagine being able to search any column in the data from one simple search box. then a filter list of your search is presented to you in one click. This is achievable now without any special code on the behalf of devart. Come on vote for this and you will adore it.

Add CURRENT_TIMESTAMP tick box option for Default field in Column Properties dialogue box.
This is an extension of the feature already implemented here:
EMS' MySQL Manager software has ability to set this as a tick box option, along side the option for Update current_timetamp.
Annoying to have to type in CURRENT_TIMESTAMP into default box each time when that is the most likely default option each time you create a timestamp field.
Thanks,

Format binary column in data grid
I'd like to see a way to make the data grid display all values for a specific columns (in this case, a binary(16)) as a GUID.
Right now I have to create a view for each table and I would prefer it to be more efficient.
This could be solved in a robust and efficient way by allowing the user to apply a function of their choosing to the column. That's really all I'm doing in the view.

Implement "Undo Unchanged Files" feature for TFS for any folder in pending changes.
Implement "Undo Unchanged Files" feature for any folder in pending changes.
For TFS this will be brilliant feature because there is no good tool/extension to do so.
Especially it is useful when baseless merge is performed.6 votes -

Refactoring does NOT take care of procudures and views
This is a big problem for me.
I renamed one table using the refactoring function.
But all views and procedures which used this table were not automatically changed as I expected.
Now I can't even open the views or procedures to manually edit them. All I get is: "unable to parse source text" which derives (so I think) from the now no more existing tables.
I was able to edit the views with the help of phpMyAdmin. But I can't edit the procedure.
This is a big issue for me.5 votesAdminDevart (_, Devart) respondedCould you please describe the steps to reproduce the issue in details?
Please also provide us the CREATE definitions of the objects.
Additionally, please specify the version of dbForge.

Display which source fields aren't mapped to destination fields
When importing files in the Mapping screen, the software shows which destination fields are and are not mapped to a source field. It would be great to know which source fields aren't mapped to a destination fields too.
