Sort connections by name and search by name and host in DatabaseExplorer
It is a bit annoying when you have lots of connections in the Database Explorer and can not find a specific one. An option to sort connections by their name and the ability to search connections via name and/or host would be nice and helpful.

Provision for Saving Charts/Graphs generated
For many cases, one can design a Pivot Table accompanied with a Chart/Graph BUT THERE is NO way one can use the CHART anywhere else apart from JUST seeing it there yet sometimes the concerned person needs to export and use the chart for further reporting needs...
Love to have a functionality that provides for Saving Chart as png, jpg, jpeg, etc ... or even pdf
Thanks

I work much with large procedures and in there I have a lot of nested BEGIN END and IF END IF statements.
It's sometimes not easy to keep the overview.
A helpful feature would be to fade out or fade in code groups like BEGIN END and/or IF END IF.
In some situation you already have this but only on the highest level (stored procedures first BEGIN).1 vote -

Usability: Highlight important Tables
PLEASE SUPPORT ME:
7 votesAdminDevart (_, Devart) respondedYou could use the ‘Database Project’ functionality as described below:
1. Select ‘File → New → Blank Project’ from the main menu.
2. Drag’n’drop the connection from Database Explorer onto Project Explorer (select ‘View → Project Explorer’ from the main menu).
3. Drag’n’drop the specified tables from Database Explorer onto Project Explorer.
4. Save the project by selecting ‘File → Save NewProject As…’ from the main menu. Now, whenever you open the project, you will have your favourite tables in a convenient place.
Please also see the ‘Managing Database Projects’ node in the product’s Help documentation.

Usability: Give Tabs a temporary name
PLEASE SUPPORT ME:
9 votesAdminDevart (_, Devart) respondedWe explained how to create a blank project in the following post: http://forums.devart.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=26085#p88675
Please note that the database projects also store the information on open documents, so next time you open the previously saved project, the documents that were open last time you saved the project, will be restored.

Positioning of cursor while editing
Hello,
when the editor recognizes a command it automatically adjusts the lines.
Problem ist that the cursor does not follow!
Example: You are in line 2 of your SQL command and the editor adjusts the format to 4 lines. You continue to type, but not at the end in line 4 but somewhere in the middle in line 2 of the command.Ronald

Data comparison: mark data not matched if destination doesn't exist or is empty
When performing data comparison, test destination for existence and number of rows before comparing. If destination table doesn't exist or is empty, all data in the source can be marked as not matched, saving the time of the actual compare operation.

Ability to import several tabs from single Excel file at once
add a feature to import excel tables with several Regions because when you import the first region (or TAB) the action finishes and you have to begin again open the same file and perform the same action. I'm importing a 300 tables with 262000 records each one and is very difficult to open each file 5 times!!

Add support for build variables/parameters
There are times when some arbitrary string or bit of code needs to be different for separate build configurations.
For example, in a project that contains numerous cross-database queries, one might need to specify the database based on which build configuration was selected.
This could be handled by providing a way to define variables (or parameters if you prefer that term) that could be placed in the table, stored procedure, etc. scripts. The variables would be replaced by values specified for each build configuration when generating the deployment (or schema change) script.

Create automation engine like VBA in MSOffice and CorelDraw or plugins Interface
It would be nice to have ability to develop automation scripts or plugins to allow extensibility of dbForge Studio for MySQL.
For example, I have repeating task:
1. Create backup of database A
2. Create backup of data in table b in database B
3. Overwrite database B with backup of database A
4. truncate table b in database B
5. Write data from backup of data in table b to database B
6. Performe some data modifications in database B
(all of this to produce developers copy of database from production database)I think that performing this feature will…

Add "Find in Database Explorer" right-click context option everywhere
Currently, the "Find in Database Explorer" right-click context option seems to only be in "Find Object" results.
It would be great to have "Find in Database Explorer" everywhere "Go To Definition" (F12) is currently found. Add a default speed key to it as well (CTRL-F12?)
