You can actually fix all your backup of files issues using "cloudbacko home" software i am using this software from long time and really satisfied with this software. Leaving a link below just check: http://www.cloudbacko.com/free-backup.jsp

SQL scripting capability is nice for those less dependant on GUI. After all; that's why we got DBForge - as an intuitive interface to easily open the door to the native power of MySQL.
Also; I manage my Linux based MySQL instance from a Windows PC and I don't really know Linux / Unix much. Again; why we have DBForge.

Need ability to stack multiple scheduled backup templates.
For example:
Nightly - Non-Data backup of Development database.
Nightly - Non-Data backup of Production database (layouts only)
Nightly - Data-Included backup of Production database - each table in its own. -

The command line support of MySQL Database Backup feature has
already implemented! So, you can create a .bat-file with
command-line setting to invoke mysql backup, set up Windows
scheduler and specify the bat file you've created. How to do it,
please have a look at:
http://blog.devart.com/how-to-setup-daily-mysql-backup-on-windows.html> This is OK, but I would like to see if it was part of the application, as it was for example in MySQL Administrator.
