Ads within DbForge Express interfere with other programs
Everytime I start dbForge Studio Express I get an advertisement about Cyber Monday discount. Don't get me wrong: I love the discount, but I don't need to see the ad every time I started dbForge Studio. More importantly: the advertisement interferes with other programs, because it shows after a while when I switched to another program. It'd like to see the ad only in dbForge Express and an option added called 'Do not show again'.

Export Data to SQL with Structure
I would like to export data from a table to SQL and have the option of the SQL doing a "DROP TABLE" "CREATE TABLE" to create the table and insert the data. Currently the options only allow for data insert, update, etc. Please add the ability to include the structure of the table and fields.

Have an option for unlocking a DB that dbForge has exclusively locked
When I try to restore a database (from SSMS on the server), sometimes dbForge has the DB exclusively locked and the restore fails. I end up then needing to close all my tabs in dbForge, and then shutting down dbForge.
Why not have an option to release dbForge's lock on the DB?

List of dependencies accessible from object tab
dbForge shows dependencies in object tree. That is great. But also it may be helpful to have the same information on opened object tab (at least for tables). Otherwise we always must search for object of interest in objects tree.

Compare null to non-null values in each individual column in report
I would love to see a feature to have the comparison report to see counts for columns that had a null value in the source and didn't have null values in the target and vice-versa.

Add "By Name" filter to dbForge Search
Add a "By name" button next to DDL. This would be similar to DDL, but would exclude definitions (e.g., it would include SP name but not SP definition). This would allow use of dbForge to quickly look for for specific SPs or tables as a more convenient/faster alternative to SSMS object explorer. It is possible to set the object types to only include procedures, but doing so still includes contents, which makes for a search that is both slower and noisier.

See query that filter automatically is generating
When I filter the results grid in DBForge Studio for SQL Server, it's great to quickly get the results i need! However, there are times I'd like to see the SQL of the filter (i.e. what it is putting in the WHERE clause) so I can use it in my own SQL query. Currently I do not see a way to view or export that. This would be a nice feature to have!

Configurable Layout
It is typical to write or extend a sql stmt on the top of a query window and to see the result in the bottom.
dbForge has not that standard behaviour for this window. My Suggestion is to configure or save the last the window layout as it will be needed.
I know there are two buttons in the bottom to click on to change this layout but when you work the whole day with this tool and you have click 200 times a day these both buttons it's getting bothersome and not a good user experience.3 votes -

Provide option to Search data locally or on the server
The search feature in the data view is very slow with large data sets both locally and remotely. In my case I use Azure SQL. Once the data has been retrieved I would like to be able to search the data in the gridview without an additional query to the remote server. You could implement this as a toggle button in the search dialog.
Thanks,

Object Explorer details (Data space used, index space used, row count...)
In SQL Server Managment Studio there is an view: Object explorer details. Where I can see details for all tables in my database. And for example I can sort tables by row count. Similar view in DbForge has fixed columns: Schema, Principal, Partitioned, Create Date, Modify Date, filegroup, Change tracking, Lock_Escalation. But there is no possibility to add extra columns especially: Data space used, index space used, row count.

Pewrmit override Alias name assignment during Query design when LONG table names prevent viewing of columns/fields in the columns window.
From a SSMS Query window execute a statement like:
CREATE TABLE #tempAllBin (ID Int);
Then, in your query designed, browse to the TempDB and locate the new temp table. It will have a name like: "#tempAllBins________________________________________________________________________________________________________000000090BC2".
Select this table name and drag it into the query designer window in your tool. - The length of the table name makes it impossible to view the column names in the column window, as well as a number of other complcations arising from the length of that table name. I see no way to assign a SHORTER ALIAS Name in your query designer…3 votes -
refresh button when restore database
I need refresh button when restore database and browse folder, sometimes I forgot to extract the BAK files into folder.
In current release, I have to cancel the wizard, extract backup files, and start over the restore wizard.
If there is a REFRESH button in browse folder it make easier to restore, I just click the button and choose the backup file without start over the wizard.thanks
