4. Temp Table to XML conversion

   Most of the times we will take input parameters as XML datatype but finally output we are getting in table format. If we need to get the output on XML formal then we need option to convert datatable to XML.

5. Open schema/data comparison files

   Opening a saved or recent file (schema or data comparison) should not start comparing directly but instead open the "Edit comparison" dialog in the Mapping tab, just in case the user wishes to change the items being compared. When using slow connections between servers, this would be very helpful. If you feel may users would not like such a change, it could be made configurable in the application options (a "Don't start comparison immediately when opening a comparison file" checkbox).

6. Unfortunately, Query Builder does not support CTE yet.

   You added support for CTE's to the application, but left it out of the query builder. So, the result is even though there is support now for CTE's, you still can't fully use it.

   Can you you just add the WITH statement to the query builder along with the other (SELECT, DELETE, etc....) keywords it supports?
   Seems like it would be a quick, simple, change.

7. Multiline tabs

   Please add multiline tabs. I often have many tabs and it's much easier to navigate between them visually (i know where is each of them) then with dropdown or arrows.

   Also, please add more descriptive names in document tab names, something like SQL1.SERVERNAME.DATABASE, or options with parameters so that everyone can name tabs based on connection. Now everything is SQL1, SQL2, SQL3 regardles on which database I'm connected to (and I'm usually connected to more that one database). Coloring helps me to distinguish between development and production database, but it's not easy do distinguish between two or more production databases (and I don't want to use different color for each database because I have lot's of them).

8. Ability to unpin Data window from query

   It seems good if you add ability to unpin data window from query. For example, It will be nice (if you use two monitors) to edit query on the first monitor and view data on the second.

9. Key bindings like in Sublime Text 2

   The way that Sublime Text 2 manages key bindings is far superior to the Visual Studio way which dbForge Studio currently implements. Specifically, I would like to be able to edit a text file that describes how keys ought to be bound.

   Personally, I prefer emacs-style key bindings, but not everyone does and my keyboard doesn't have the home/end/pgup/pgdown buttons because I use a MacBook Pro.

   dbForge Studio doesn't appear to support bindings for moving to the end or beginning of a line, so I'm stuck without an ability to remap these keys.

10. Additional Relation Notation for Database Diagram

    To show a 'many' relationship on the child side, a 'crow's foot' shape is used now. SSMS uses 1 and * (asterisk sign) to show one-to-many relation. So you can add similar notation to the Diagram Document Options. (Now there are two options available: IE and IDEF1X)

12. Schema/data comparison user interface

    Hi. I'm currently evaluating studio for sql server. OK, i'm primarily interested in schema and data comparison but evaluating the whole studio product. Here's a couple of things which i think would be useful additions/modifications to the UI of the product(s) (schema and data comparison).

    1. The "recent files" section. I think it would be better if there was a "favorites" section above "recent files" and the user was able to choose whether he wishes to have the "recent files", "favorites" or both sections shown. Also, comparison projects could have an editable title so in the "favorites" section, one could see the title instead of what appears now ("DB (Server1 vs Server2)").
    2. In the results of the schema comparison, tables are grouped depending on whether they are different or only in one of the two servers. I've used other comparison programs and i find the "two trees approach" more useful and clear than the one you are using. Imagine two trees in the screen. The left one shows the source server's items and the right one the destination. There is a top level in the tree containing the names of all items taking place in the comparison (tables, views, functions, procs, etc). Under there, all names (i.e. of the tables) are shown with different colors depending on whether they are the same, different or non-existant. Each table name could also be expandable so one could see its columns, indexes, keys, default values, etc. In front of the tree a checkbox should exist so one would be able to check it and make it a part of any sync script generated. Under the trees, a section exists like the one you have now, showing the left and right "create" scripts of the tables. If you have a visual image of a DB in your mind with all tables sorted alphabetically, it's easier to work with it like this than having all tables/views grouped by "only in source server, different, etc").
    3. Clicking on a "recently used" item (for data comparison only), the "edit comparison" window should appear in the "mapping" section, just in case someone wishes to select a different set of tables to be compared. When you have a local DB and a remote one with a slow connection, you wish to select the comparison items before starting the process which might take several minutes to complete.
    4. The "change sync direction" concept in the data comparison window is a little confusing. It would be much better if the whole window was changed in such a way as if the comparison was made from the beginning with the two servers swapped. Swap the values of the grid columns "only in source" and "only in target" and not the titles. The same with the tabs.

13. Provide a means to 'preview' the results of a sql query prior to actually executing it.

    When designing fairly complex queries that would result in the altering of several (potentially hundreds) of rows of data it would be nice to be able to see a 'preview' of what the results of running it might be. This would help greatly in refining the query as it is being written so that it really does end up producing the desired results.

14. Comparing and synchronizing Views using a different schema-mapping doesn't work

    When comparing and synchronizing views while using a different schema-mapping:
    *) equal views are marked as different cause of the different schema in the view name and the different schema within the select -> please adapt the compare-logic to accept the correct displayed sqls as equal
    *) the generated sql for updating views doesn't work because they contain the right schema (target) in the view name, but the wrong schema (source) within the select -> please replace objects with the source schema within the select of the view with the target schema

15. Don't remove "Recent Files" items just because of network access issues.

    When selecting a Recent Files' item that is not currently accessible, dbForge for SQL Server removes that item from the list. This is a highly unusual UX experience and very annoying.

16. Duplicate query

    I would like to see an option on tab context menu. Often I need to duplicate (clone) my query. So another useful option in context menu when clicking on Query Tab would be "Duplicate query" or something like that.

    hi guys

    a simple UNION like

    SELECT TOP 10 contactnumber FROM contacts c JOIN addresses a ON c.addressnumber = a.addressnumber
    UNION
    SELECT TOP 10 contactnumber FROM contacts c JOIN addresses a ON c.addressnumber = a.addressnumber

    will create an error "1 Not unique table/alias: 'c' Query.sql".

    It would be nice to see the querybuilder processing these kind of sql's.
