  2. In the Schema comparison options, to have another option available to ignore the column order for the included columns in a nonclustered index, as this column order is not relevant.

  3. one glaring omission seems to be that you cannot create new databases using this tool - so I have to still revert to Management Studio to create the database, then switch to Devart for everything else.

Is it possible you could add this functionality?

  5. I would love to be able to right-click on the column headers in a result set and "Copy Column Headers", say to a comma-delimited string. I found this super-useful back in my days using MySQL Query Browser especially when writing INSERT INTO code.

There is the ‘Copy with Headers’ feature.

Also, there is the ‘Generate Script As’ feature with the help of which you can generate the INSERT statement.

  6. Some of my tables have computed columns. I try to go through the mappings and manually un-check those tables before I do a data sync, but I sometimes miss one, the sync blows up, and I have to start again from scratch.

Since it doesn't normally make sense to try to write to a computed column, I think there should be a (defaulted to on) checkbox that says "ignore computed columns".

  7. Make LOB editor window remember its size and position.

I work with long strings sometimes. The editor window opens for a quarter of the screen, so I have to extend it manually every time, it's not convenient. It would be nice if it remembered it's last size and position, or if if was dockable.
    Line wrapping could help too.

  10. Add Git source control option (SVN and TFS are already supported). I find that the concept of Git and how it works fits really well with our database development flow.

  14. Ability to associate a color to a connection, so that queries/tools open for that connection can have background or border of that color to remind you which connection you are working with. We have local dev/shared dev/qa/staging/production environments, and I would like to be able to visually differentiate which connection is being used.

  15. Especially: renaming table aliases. Other suggestons:
adding aliases, adding or removing AS keywords, replacing aliases with table names or vice versa, removing 'redundant' aliases or table names.

  17. Redgate does a data generator that is quite useful. It looks at the schema for the tables and generates randomized (according to rules that you can select) data to fill them. It is quite useful when you need to say generate 100,000 rows for testing.

  20. Implement at least two color schemes dark and bright so when changing to the dark scheme, a user is to be able to quickly change the text color as well.
