yes, a native paradox-provider is the only feature i miss in unidac, access these tables via odbc is not so funny

There are still a lot of Paradox db's out there. It would be a real plus to have a product that read.writes to both version 5 and version 7 files.
Interbase has a paradox driver you can hijack, but the result leaves a lot to be desired.
I would think it would be a great addition to UniDAC.

I have old projects still using Paradox as database backend. I want to add functionality and update them, but recent versions of Delphi is not using BDE. I have to use ODBC, and that causes lots of headaches.
I would love to be able to access my old Paradox 7 databases directly with UniDAC.

Currently the BDE is becoming obsolete and giving many problems from Windows Vista and above with shared memory.
If you create Paradox Native Driver for UniDAC, I'm sure many users migrate their applications to UniDAC.
