This can be changed as follows:
    1. Select ‘Tools → Options…’ from the main menu. The ‘Options’ window opens.
    2. Navigate to the ‘Environment → Font and Colors’
    3. In the ‘Show settings for’ drop-down menu, select
    ‘Database Explorer’.
    4. Specify the needed font and size.

  3. Currently, the screen is divided onto two horizontal parts where the top window contains objects and the bottom one has their text representation which is not quite convenient because there is a lot of spare place left not used.

Visually, it would be much more convenient to have the ability to place the windows vertically rather than horizontally unlike the current implementation.

For example, like in AdeptSQL Diff.

  4. I would like to be able to select all column in results grid, like you can do with row. Click on column header now only toggles sorting mode or filter. I need this option often to copy data to another query, or excel. SSMS has this feature so I got used to it.

This can be performed with the ‘Export Data’ feature that can be invoked from the popup menu of the grid or from the grid’s toolbar.

  5. Add icons which will make it easier to distinct columns which are primary/foreign keys in database explorer.

  6. Hello

The new version is more stable.
The quality of implementation is excellent.

    Congratulations.

Just like to make a reservation:

In Beta had a property in Connection tab: Document Category.
    No more this option?

    thank you

  8. Examples:
    IIF() function is not colored
CONCAT function is colored blue instead of pink (which I think should be the case)
    FORMAT function is not colored

  10. Hello
I'm testing the free beta version of you and would like to congratulate you for the excellent product quality.
Opportunity to suggest adding a feature that will certainly add more value to the product:
    - When you select an object in a SQL text (eg procedure) command, enable a new menu option to edit it. If a table, to list its structure. Thus, it avoids the need to access the Database Explorer and get the corresponding object.

Such a feature is present in the Standard Edition of dbForge SQL Complete and is called ‘Go To Definition’. You can access it by pressing F12.

  13. Can we have an option to choose that makes dbForge generate "if exists" statement when generating scripts for database objects?
    Ie:
when clicking on a sproc, table, view or synonym and selecting: "Generate Script As" - "Drop and Create", it would be nice if the generated script checks if the entity exists before dropping it.

Currently, I have to do this manually every time to have a decent deployment script.

  14. Can we please have an option to select a color for variables?
Having a selectable color for variables, allows us to more readily see where we are using variables in a large script, by making them stand out.

This is now governed by the ‘Variable’ item in the ‘Environment → Font and Colors’ section of the ‘Options’ window (select ‘Tools → Options…’ from the main menu).

  15. Especially systems that provide a command line tool to perform tasks like CheckIn/CheckOut/AddFile ...
    E.g. Seapine Surround or others

  16. In dbForge - as with SSMS - when you run a query, the results appear in a pane at the bottom. SSMS lets you easily toggle the visiblity of that pane with the Ctrl+R keyboard shortcut.

You can do the same thing with dbForge but there's no keyboard shortcut for it. Instead you have to click on the little double down arrow button at bottom right.

Please add a keyboard shortcut so it's easy to quickly toggle the visiblilty of the results pane.

    Thanks!

  17. An interface for tSQLt tests. Schemas, procedures, add test, add test class (schema) and so on. Something like Red Gates Sql Test but as a VS add-in and with the ability to view a single database. Also. the ability to the various displayed objects would be very useful. Filters could be fairly simple, class name contains, test procedure contains, begins with, ... Would be nice if the filters could be saved between sessions but certainly not a requirement.

  18. Quick jump to corresponding BEGIN <-> END

In bigger procedures with a lot of nasted BEGIN-ENDs it would be very useful to have a shortcut key or right mouse button option to jump to BEGIN/END corresponding to the one on which you currently have cursor.

  20. Code compare built in dbForge schema comparison is nice, but I miss bottom "Diff pane" like WinMerge has. This is very useful for long line code comparison.
