5 years later, still not possible. :(

In any case, i would like to add to this the ability to also compare views with tables and synonyms (in any mix, a view with a synonym or a table with at view, etc). And no, custom query is not convenient as it works at this point, because you can't sync anything with it.

In the beginning, syncing should be enabled only in certain cases, (i.e. sync the data of a table with the data of a view, not the other way around).

Thanks for the info, it is indeed very helpful and does what i wanted, however i consider this to be a workaround. I was looking for something that removes Users from Schema Comparison permanently. What you are describing is a procedure that has to be performed manually for every new comparison that is done.

It might be better to have those filters in a new tab in the Comparison Properties (named "What to compare"), where the user could define them once and then "Save as defaults", much like what is done for the Options part of both the Schema and Data Comparison windows. That could also filter the respective options in the existing Filters window.

This was partly implemented with the "Sync" column in the comparison's window, but it would be more useful if it existed in the "Sync window" as an option (which fields to update). One may wish to perform a field-by-field update. As is now, he will have to perform as many comparisons as the fields he wishes to update.

To perform comparison, dbForge reads out data to the cache. It can’t sort the data, because, to display in the resulting grid, dbForge reads the data from the cache upon scrolling and doesn’t keep it in the grid in order to avoid out of
    memory errors.

In the same way as the "WHERE" field is applied to the initial query, a new "ORDER BY" field could also be applied. Is it possible?

Sorting could be allowed if the grid contains a small number of rows. You could set a 1000 rows hard-limit.

In version 6.0, the feature Execution Notification is added. It’s managed by the ‘Environment → Documents → Notifications’ section of the ‘Options’ window (select ‘Tools → Options…’ from the main menu).

Will that be enough or should there also be an option to choose a file to play?

It would be a nice touch but not mandatory. It might be more important to add a "Play" button so that the user can hear what the notification sounds like so that he recognizes it when it happens.

Or it could just ask: "File cannot be found. Do you wish to remove it from the list?" :)

I find the removal useful because currently there is no other way to remove a file from the "recent files" list other than renaming it in order for Studio not to find it the next time it starts. I see how this could be a problem with network files though.

I support this suggestion provided that a rightclick menu will be added on a file in the "recent files" list, which will contain a "remove from this list" functionality.
