  1. Is it at all possible to turn off the having the data types appear in the column headings? (Added in the new 7.1 update)

When i export data out into a spreadsheet all the Data Types copy out as well which then i have to manually remove the types out of the column headings, if not possible to turn off right now is this a feature that can be added?

Please note that you can view queries sent by dbForge Studio for MySQL as follows:

    1. Select ‘Tools → Options’ from the main menu. The ‘Options’ window opens.
    2. Navigate to the ‘Environment → Output’ branch.
    3. Select the ‘Log application errors’ and ‘Write queries sent by the program to the SQL Log’ options. To open SQL Log, select ‘View → Output’ from the main menu and switch to the ‘SQL Log’ tab in the ‘Output’ tool window.
    4. Unselect the ‘Delete application log after closing’ option.
    5. Click ‘OK’.

The log file is saved in the directory with the application executable file (by default ‘programfiles\Devart\dbForge Studio for MySQL\’).

  3. Sorry, I am total ignorant on this, but I to publish a major (5.000-10.000 items) searchable online database (the data is presently in MS Excel). Can your software do the thing for me (I am ready to learn, of course ;-)

    Please perform the following:

    1. In the New Data Comparison wizard, select the databases to compare.
    2. On the ‘Mapping’ page of the wizard, select the row with the mapped tables and click the three-dotted button located at the end of the row. The ‘Column Mapping’ dialog opens.
    3. Select the columns that will be used as a comparison key and select the ‘Key’ checkbox against them.
    4. Click the ‘OK’ button.
    5. Click the ‘Compare’ button in the wizard.

    Comparison should complete successfully.

  7. Is there a way to append a timestamp to the file name of exported data? EG: MyExcelReport-2016-09-14 13:59:00.xls
