Please note that you can assign one of the available document categories with colors to a connection as follows:

    1. Right-click a connection in Database Explorer and select ‘Modify Connection…’ from the popup menu. The ‘Database Connection Properties’ dialog opens.
    2. Switch to the ‘Connection’ tab.
    3. In the ‘Document Category’ drop-down menu, select one of the available options or add a new one by clicking the three-dotted button.

The feature I requested covers this requested functionality - in part.
    https://devart.uservoice.com/forums/177009-dbforge-studio-for-sql-server/suggestions/31091020-qol-improvement-copy-paste-keys-to-follow-predomi

The difference is I am requesting the standard clipboard keys to operate on the current line if no selection is made. This would allow a quick way to delete the current line and paste it again if desired.

Hmmm...I've never used the query builder so at first I didn't even know what this request was talking about. I prefer to edit and run my queries in an SQL window (CTEs are supported very well in this type of window).

If Devart can add CTEs to query builder, that will be quite the impressive bit of programming. Since CTEs at the simplest are joining of tables, but then there are beasts such as recursive CTEs. Yeah, that will be interesting to see in a UI.

I can't seem to edit my original post.

Anyway, when joining line 9 to line 8 (in my example) reduce all whitespace in the front of line 9 to a single space, then add it to line 8. This is basically just a shortcut to pressing the BACKSPACE key on the end of line 8 and then repeatedly pressing it to get rid of all the extra whitespace. That's what would be handy. To reduce the number of keystrokes to 1 for joining lines.
