There are two inconveniences (though, the root of the problem may be the same):
1. When editing a script the text always flickers, that is quickly disappears from the screen and then appears back again.
2. During editing very large scripts the application always hangs.
In my opinion, ability to control this functionality will help in solving this problem. Let a user select whether it has to be performed automatically or manually.

Please make sure you are using the latest build 6.0.315 of dbForge Studio for MySQL: http://www.devart.com/dbforge/mysql/studio/download.html
If the issues still persist in the latest build, could you please let us know whether you are executing the scripts by selecting 'Database -> Execute Large Script' from the main menu? If so, please make sure you select the appropriate option from the 'Database' drop-down menu on the 'Script location' page of Execute Script Wizard.
