    The color theme option of importing a visual studio color theme for text would be a killer feature. Right now it's too tedious to edit the theme to match visual studio, so I end up not using the app as much, due to the readability difference in the default dark themes vs visual studios. Consider the benefit of this, as users could leverage studiostyle.es and other theming for fonts/colors that have already been done. I'd even be happy if the color settings from SQL complete export would be imported over from ssms export to the import from db forge studio.

    You could mark this as partially resolved. I see some highlighting issues on it, but the actual multiple line tab/edit worked in the latest version today.

    This is probably setup in your connection settings or login on the Server itself. You can look at your login at server level and set the default database there to something like tempdb.

    FYI, this could easily be done with Autohotkey. Send me a direct message on twitter @SQLBarbarian and I'd be glad to help you on this. No need to wait on this in the app functionality.

    I have open source code from SSMS Extender project that does this. I'm sure you could consider leveraging the concept and not be starting from scratch.

    I'm not kidding... this is my coworkers favorite addin, they love it. Integrating to SQL Complete would be a great selling point!

    great idea! This would be great for code cleanup. Maybe it could highlight after triggering parse w/format.

    Good idea. I guess the difficulty I have with the outline is it doesn't give a snippet of the code or allow a "section comment", so all i have is a bunch of selects or begin/end in the outline, which isn't terribly descriptive.

    Note, this gets reset for each session, ie each query windows, and SQL Complete doesn't always auto select the first result unless the typed name is very close. I'd like the first result to be selected period.... allow me to continue typing until I have the item I wish then hit tab with no extra keyboard movement or mouse movement.

    This is a great idea. I've got some large tables and I can't view all the data. Limit the length to customized amount (in settings), and set scroll bar or "page" selection to view more

    I'd also like to recommend this forum have some "code block" option so when we are posting ideas back you actually get the code block in the right format.

    preformatted code block
    <pre>
    select
    1
    ,2
    ,3
    from
    table11 t

    inner join table2 t2
    on t.value = t2.value

    inner join ( -- starting parenthesis

    select
    1
    ,2
    ,3
    from
    subquerytable3
    where
    test = test
    ) f on t.value = v.value
    and t.value2 = v.value2
    where
    test = test
    </pre>
