  6. There are times when some arbitrary string or bit of code needs to be different for separate build configurations.

For example, in a project that contains numerous cross-database queries, one might need to specify the database based on which build configuration was selected.

This could be handled by providing a way to define variables (or parameters if you prefer that term) that could be placed in the table, stored procedure, etc. scripts. The variables would be replaced by values specified for each build configuration when generating the deployment (or schema change) script.

  7. Starting from version 5, it became not convenient to specify a backup file where you need to select both a path and file name in two separate fields.

Bring back a single dialog for specifying a path and file name.

  12. It would be wonderful if you could activate or deactivate each condition in the Filter Editor like in the Navicat "Filter Wizard".
PS: about the "Filter Editor" interface, I don't understand why there is no button in the toolbar to open it...

  14. In bigger procedures with a lot of nasted BEGIN-ENDs it would be very useful to have a shortcut key or right mouse button option to jump to BEGIN/END corresponding to the one on which you currently have cursor.

  16. In SSMS when you drag'n'drop the Columns node from Database Explorer onto the text editor, a column list separated by a comma is inserted.

Also, you could make it to be able to drag'n'drop selected columns onto the Data Editor.

  18. We are some DBAs on the company and we to share the projects folder, is there any way to export/import them? or better, to use a shared resource to use it? Normally we use SVN, so keep the project folder on a SVN working copy should be the best option.

  20. On the Mapping page of the New Data Comparison wizard, show the number of the records containing in Source and Target tables.

Sometimes it appears to be the only criteria to exclude quite large tables from synchronization.
