  1. Parent tabs for separate database instance

Hello, I love your software and I am using it, so for many years using and my developing experiences, how about if I handle on multiple database per project and I opened very much database's table, so I recommend software have a parent's tab for each database inside it's child tab. Its very efficient to work and easier to sort them, I will continue using your software is my core tools, so I hope this feature will be integrated soon.

    Regard!

      • Better error description when concurrency exception occurs

I opened a table and focused some data row. Then I created a new sql and did a few queries, one of them deleted a row in the table I've previously opened. But I didn't notice it. Then I returned to the opened table and edited the focused row (the one that was already deleted actually) and I got very generic error message, something like "An error has occurred during update operation". I spent a minute to understand that this is a concurrency exception because I've deleted a row I wanted to edit.

        • Quick jump to corresponding BEGIN <-> END

In bigger procedures with a lot of nasted BEGIN-ENDs it would be very useful to have a shortcut key or right mouse button option to jump to BEGIN/END corresponding to the one on which you currently have cursor.

          • Option "Ignore errors" while synchronizing process.

Now the synchronization aborts when an error occurs. Adding an option which overrules this behaviour and the synchronization process for a table continues.

            • Column highlight in insert statement

Tables with many columns (+20) becomes complex when you need to make insert. You need to make sure that the value is pointing to the correct column.

It will be a great feature to have the highlighted column matched with the value in the insert statements.

              Like this:

              INSERT INTO dbo.MyTable
              (
              Id,
              Name,
              LastName,
              Age)
              values
              (1,
              'john',
              'Henrik',
              22)

When clicking on the value John the Name column should be marked/highlighted. This means that the John value will be added to the Name column. And vice versa.

                • Local Query Log of metadata changes: tables, procedures, views, UDFs, etc.

Add a setting by default, that once enabled - stores queries that affect metadata changes in a kind of transaction log locally on hard disk.

Recenlty I've got a problem with hosting provider, who got DB dumps with only data in it, but it's lack of saving tables, procedures, views and UDFs. Its a fail.

                  • implement developer express new FIND PANEL feature ASAP

I have found this feature in the quantum grid suit to be outstanding - and you guys know as well as I do - how easy it is to make it available. This is a no brain feature. For those reading this and potential voter, imagine being able to search any column in the data from one simple search box. then a filter list of your search is presented to you in one click. This is achievable now without any special code on the behalf of devart. Come on vote for this and you will adore it.

                    • Selectively disable connections

Currently I have 10 production servers and a couple of dev/test servers added to my Database Explorer, it would be awesome if there was an option to manually DISABLE/ENABLE a server entry. That way I have extra protection agains accidentally running a script on the wrong db.

                      • Allow users to remove close buttons from tabs

The close buttons take up space and can be clicked by accident. Closing via the middle mouse button is a very useful pattern adopted by many apps, like Firefox & NetBeans.

                        • Multiselect in session manager

Right now I've to kill sessions/queries in session manager one by one. I would like to be able to select many of them (usualy sorted by query time) and kill them all - even if it's actually executed as individual queries.

                            • Peek overview of Views, functions, and stored procedures.

when you type in a query window and you have the following types of database objects are returned: Views, Functions, and stored procedure. It will be a great feature to have a view of the code of the object.

This way it will be easier to find out which Stored procedure or view to change by simply hovering over the database object instead of going to the defintion and right click and select modify.

                              • Support backtrace on exception in debug mode

When I run a sequence of stored procedure calls and somewhere in there an error occurs, the debugging session just ends. If the error could have happened at multiple places then it would be very helpful to have a back trace of the last line to successfully execute or the one that failed to execute.

                                • Add support for build variables/parameters

There are times when some arbitrary string or bit of code needs to be different for separate build configurations.

For example, in a project that contains numerous cross-database queries, one might need to specify the database based on which build configuration was selected.

This could be handled by providing a way to define variables (or parameters if you prefer that term) that could be placed in the table, stored procedure, etc. scripts. The variables would be replaced by values specified for each build configuration when generating the deployment (or schema change) script.

                                    • Possibility to keep previous results (data tabs) in Data Editor

When you create a query window and run multiple queries, you get multiple tabs showing the data.

If you then Ctrl-F8 to Execute Selection (either on new queries or existing) , you lose previous data tabs and they are replaced with the new one, by default it seems at least.

Is it possible to stop previously run data tabs closing, either globally or by pinning individual tabs to stop them closing when you run new queries within that tab? Its extremely frustrating when trying to access multiple data sets, you have to create new query tabs and end up in…

                                      • Quick search of a table after retreiving data

A search bar across the top above column names after retreiving data (either by right clicking on a table and retreiving data, or after running a select query).

The search bar would function as a WHERE statement clause to temporarly further refine the data.

Example: data on a record needs to be quickly manually edited. With two clicks (one right on the table, on left on retreive data) I can retrive records from the table. Then typing in the search bar "id = 3728" (without the quotes) woulld then filter the results down to only those matching.

                                        Both SequalPro (Mac)…

                                        • Add right click on a solution explorer folder show context menu

In dbForge Fusion for MySQL, when you add a folder to the project in the Solution Explorer, right clicking on it does not bring up a menu. I added a folder named DataFiles to go along with Functions, Procedures, Tables and Views folders. When you right click on any of these last 4 folders you get a menu with the following choices:
                                          ... Add New File...
                                          ... Add Existing File...
                                          ... Add Folder
                                          ... Rename
                                          ... Delete
                                          ... Refresh
                                          ... Properties
