  1. Once upgraded, I don't see an easy way to revert to the prior version. It seems to entirely wipe it. Its just a matter of time before the new version exhibits some serious problem.

Additionally; it would be nice to set a preference to never accept a new version until it's been out for a month. Typically; I manually decline the upgrade until it seems like a month has gone by but that's just unscientific.

This setting depends on the locale of your operating system and can be changed in the ‘Region and Language’ section of your Windows settings.

  4. LOAD DATA INFILE (Error Message "Fix")

I am requesting that you add the DETAILS from the POPUP dialog to the OUTPUT window. So after you click OKAY, you still have access to the PROPER Details including DATA FILE ROW NUMBER!

    https://www.screencast.com/t/wAdjle8sHmal

That is what I get once I clear the dialog. I get NO repeat of the "in row 1663857 of the data"

It was in the POPUP message (Called Additional Information)

    https://www.screencast.com/t/DLfhMmAK5VZz

    It would be helpful.

Please note that there is information on the error including the row number in the ‘Error List’ window that can be opened by selecting ‘View → Error List’ from the main menu (Ctrl+W, E).

Could you please describe this in more detail and specify in what cases exactly this should be applicable?

  6. Provide a new option to perform page breaks in documentation when generating documentaion (e.g. at database table level). This would allow the documentation to be more readable for users. (SQL Documentor)

Could you please provide us screenshots of the actual and expected results?

You can send a reply straight to our support system at alexaATdevartDOTcom and supportATdevartDOTcom .

  7. Rather than a ALL or ONE schema display within a connection, add a 'schemas to display' option like what is used for "Find Object->Owner" dropdown. If it's checked, it's displayed. Leave the 'display all' button through!

  9. If you are in the "Text" tab of a stored procedure, there is a keyboard shortcut available to execute the stored proc (F5). This results in moving you to the Data tab.

If you want to re-run the same store procedure, you must use your mouse to click the Text tab then F5 again. It would be nice if from the Data tab you could F5 or other shortcut key saving the mouse clicks.

  10. The security screen allows management of global privileges (across all databases on a server), or object-level privileges (within a given database). What's missing is the portion in between - specifiying which databases or hosts a users' privileges apply to (impacts mysql db and hosts tables). As it stands, if I want to grant a user privileges that are database specific or host specific, I must create the grant/revoke statements to target the db and hosts tables directly.

  12. I use a very busy color theme in Visual Studio, finding it helps me visuallize the code better.

However, when comparing two files with my "dev" theme its much too visually noisy.

I would like an option to disable the coloring detected by Code Compare when launched from Visual Studio.

Just a simple checkbox to "Always use defautl colors" for source code would suffice.

  14. Use case: Moving data from production environment into empty test environment.

If source or target table is empty then there is no need to compare rows. In the frontend it looks like every row is processed in a loop, takes half a minute to process ~30000 records, and a lot more time to process a million records.

I suggest to perform a record count on the target table. If target table is empty, just suggest to copy over all rows in the source. If target table is not empty, then check source table. If source table is empty, then suggest…

  15. When designing a query with a lot of tables, the font size gets too small to read. You should be able to change the font to make it readable.

  16. While viewing a set of data in the master-detail browser, it would be nice to be able to export the data that is shown on the screen. The export could be done for each master-detail tab separately or it would be nice to be allowed to export data from all currently displayed tabs; however, this would have to be separate files or Excel sheets for each tab.

If nothing else, allow copy on the data rows so they can be manually copied and pasted into Excel or other application.

  17. add a feature to import excel tables with several Regions because when you import the first region (or TAB) the action finishes and you have to begin again open the same file and perform the same action. I'm importing a 300 tables with 262000 records each one and is very difficult to open each file 5 times!!

  19. When performing data comparison, test destination for existence and number of rows before comparing. If destination table doesn't exist or is empty, all data in the source can be marked as not matched, saving the time of the actual compare operation.

  20. Hello,

when the editor recognizes a command it automatically adjusts the lines.
Problem ist that the cursor does not follow!
Example: You are in line 2 of your SQL command and the editor adjusts the format to 4 lines. You continue to type, but not at the end in line 4 but somewhere in the middle in line 2 of the command.
